Fences Vest
Featuring a striking cable panel that continues into the neckband, Fences is an elegant vest that is easy to wear and wonderfully fun to knit. The 2/2 rib that introduces the cables is split at the sides and the back is slightly longer for a modern look. There is a small cable on the side seams that features in the main cable pattern too.
For a sweater featuring the same cable panel see Fences Jumper
Fences is worked from the bottom up in a handsome combination of cables and reverse stockinette stitch. After working the front and back ribbing panels flat separately, the body is joined and worked in the round to the under arms. The front and back are then separated and worked flat for the remainder of the piece; sloped bind offs are used to shape the shoulders.
The cable panel is chart only
