Fenelon Falls
by Kitty Bryan
Fenelon Falls is a lace shawl designed to showcase silk or other “slippery” fibers.
Condo knitting and twisted stitches create a stable silk fabric. Knit flat, condo knitting uses two different sized needles for right side and wrong side rows. The pattern is reversible, creating a woven wicker effect on the right side.
The pattern name used to be Wickerwork. It was changed based on a suggestion by the Between 2 Lakes knitting group. Between 2 Lakes is located in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, Canada
