Gradient yarns are so delicious looking and make easy impulse buys, but don’t let that doom them to sit in your stash!

Fenestration knits up quick with worsted weight yarn, size ten needles, and deceptively easy colorwork to showcase your favorite gradient skein. Only one gradient cake is required, and only one yarn is carried for each row, with the all-around window pattern achieved using simple slipped stitches.

The pattern includes both written and charted directions for three different lengths of scarf, using 1(2,3) times the yardage of contrast yarn. It is easily adaptable to any length gradient skein, and with my 200 yard cakes you can expect a 7.5 foot scarf from the long pattern!
