This poncho uses approximately 1040 yards of worsted weight yarn (2 balls of Shaw in a Ball) for a small/medium size, and about 300-400 yards additional yarn (3 balls of Shawl in a Ball) for large and x-large. Shawl in a Ball yarn is a soft cotton and acrylic yarn and perfect for Spring and Summer. The photos shown are Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball which is listed as aran weight, but it’s a thick/thin yarn, and I think it’s more of a worsted weight. It’s perfect for this poncho and comes in an assortment of beautiful color combinations.

The Feng Shui Granny Poncho is crocheted from the top neck down. I’ve included instructions for small/medium and large/X-large sizes and it is easily customizable for length and width (bust/shoulder circumference) with my instructions.
