The Fern Winter Beanie is an easy, beginner-friendly hat, knitted in the round, using only knit and purl stitches. The pattern uses Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed Worsted weight yarn but most worsted weight yarn should work. Pattern gauge is approximately 20”x22” for 4 inch square in stockinette stitch. Size 6 US needles in both circular and double pointed are required. This hat is a great way to try knitting in the round AND it’s a quick knit for an afternoon!
