Hook
6mm Tunisian Hook, 30cm (12”) long, or size required to get correct gauge.

Gauge
17 sts and 14 rows in Honeycomb Pattern (main body of shawl) measures 10cm (4”) using a 6mm hook.

Construction
The Fernham shawl is worked sideways and shaped using increases, decreases and short rows. The border is worked at the same time as the main body of the shawl.

Difficulty
Some experience of Tunisian crochet required. The pattern includes links to tutorial videos for most of the stitches used (I will be adding more videos to support this pattern soon – please don’t hesitate to contact me if you get stuck!)
