This sock pattern is perfect for keeping your delicate toes warm and comfortable all year long! They knit up quickly using chunky yarn and the foot is knit according to measurements of your own feet (the leg is knit in one size). The 2x2 rib and lace patterns add interest and texture without being too complicated. The use of common knitting stitches makes this pattern great for knitters familiar with knitting, purling, and using yarn over, slip slip knit, knit 2 together, and slipped stitch techniques. The pattern includes photos of many steps - such as knitting the heel flap and turning the heel - so you can see what your work should look like.

For this project, you will need a set of four US8/5mm double pointed needles (DPN’s), a stitch marker, a tape measure or ruler, and a tapestry needle.

The yarn is a 10 ply Aran, like the Red Heart, TLC, and Vanna’s Choice yarns that are available at most craft stores. This pair of socks takes 200-250 grams of yarn, so it can even be made from the leftovers of a larger skien!
