Black Sheep Creamery knits is available in print: buy it now

Black Sheep Creamery knits tells the story of Black Sheep Creamery and contains six knitting patterns highlighting the wool produced by the same sheep that provide milk for Black Sheep Creamery’s award winning sheep milk cheeses. Patterns include cabled mittens, color work hat, cabled cowl, textured socks, ribbed cardigan sweater, and beaded garter stitch shawl.

Festival sweater is a cardigan worked flat from the hem up to the armhole, then sleeves are worked from wrist to armhole, and all pieces are joined and finished using seamless raglan shaping. A button band is added and the sweater is finished with closely spaced buttons. The squared jewel neckline allows this sweater to be worn with the buttons in the front for a cardigan look or in the back for a pullover look. The very stretchy rib pattern and slight negative ease makes this sweater look great on a variety of body shapes and sizes.

Fully written and charted instructions.

Sizes small (5 skeins) and medium (6 skeins) are knit in Black Sheep Creamery Chehalis; sizes large (7 skeins) and extra large (8 skeins) are knit in Black Sheep Creamery Rainier. Shown in size small (green) and medium (gray).

Happy knitting!
