About the Knitting Pattern
The Festive Robin Hat is a Christmas bobble hat designed for children aged 1 to 11 years old. Worked in double knitting (DK) wool, it features a robin wearing a Santa hat on the front and is finished with a large pompom. The pattern is written in English and supplied as a digital download PDF.

Design Details
The hat is knitted flat on straight needles and seamed. The robin motif is created using the intarsia method and is worked from a chart. The bobble on the robin’s Santa hat is knitted separately and sewn in place. Once the back seam is sewn, a pompom is added to complete the design.

Sizes
Instructions include six sizes:
• 1–2 years
• 2–3 years
• 4–5 years
• 6–7 years
• 8–9 years
• 10–11 years

Skills Level
Intermediate. Written instructions are provided, and confidence working from a chart is recommended for the motif.

Yarn
Double knitting (DK) wool. Overseas knitters may substitute USA Light Worsted or Australian 8 ply yarns. The hat shown uses Stylecraft Special DK in Silver (1203), White (1001), Red – Lipstick (1246), Dark Brown (1004), Mustard (1823) and Black (1002).

Needles
• 3.25 mm (USA 3) and 4.0 mm (USA 6) straight needles
