With this amazing shawl written by Lana Jois for Biscotte Yarns, you will find stripes, slipped stitches and lace intermingle to bring out the best in a long colour changing yarn.

The shawl is knit from the top down with 2 stitches in garter stitch at each edge. Increases are made at each edge both on right and wrong sides. The slipped stitch lace pattern may be worked from charts or written instructions while the stripes pattern is worked from written instructions. Colours are changed every 2 rows in the body and border of the shawl.

Finished size 72 (85)” wide and 18 (22)”

Gauge 22 sts and 28 rows = 4” in lace pattern. Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but a change in gauge may result in different finished size and yarn requirements.

In addition to the knitting pattern, you will need the following material to knit this shawl:

2 x 100g of Bis-Sock yarn of contrasting colors. (Knitting kit is available here)
Needles US Size 6 (4mm): 32” circular (cir). Circular needles are used to accommodate large number of stitches. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
