Fibonacci and Fan is a great big crescent hug of soothing garter stitch stripes, arranged according to the Fibonacci number sequence to keep you on your toes. The shawl is knit from the top down, and finished with Old Shale lace for a scalloped edge. Two coordinating 4 ounce/420 yard skeins of fingering weight yarn make this a most meditative knit…or a multi-tasker’s dream.

In love with geeky Fibonacci numbers? My Ships In the Night is a similar shawl.

Thanks to tech editor Amanda Woodruff and test knitter Ann Berg.
