Fibonacci Wrap is a kind of a wrap-shawl. Called after a medieval Italian mathematician, Leonardo Fibonacci, who introduced and spread in the Western tradition the numeral system originally from the Hindu-Arabic culture as well as the sequence of so-called Fibonacci numbers (i. e. 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, etc.). I used a sequence of Fibonacci numbers to locate the bobble in the wrap.

Fibonacci shawl can be worked as a wrap with a bobble pattern or with small intarsia stripes.

Yarn

My only recommendation is to choose rather rustic yarn in one colour for the main yarn and another for bobbles or stripes. It is not necessary to have the same kind of yarn for both, but in case of stripes you can consider a different needle size than for the main part of the shawl.

Special techniques: two row bobble or short intarsia stripes, short rows (worked with your preferred method), I-cord binding off, 3 buttons (optionally), grafting I-cord ends.
