We’ve all been seduced by those highly variegated yarns in the LYS, only to find we’re in a bit of a pickle when it’s time to knit them. Fiddlesticks Socks are designed specifically to work with those sometimes tricky yarns. This pattern will help stop unwanted pooling and showcase the beauty of those eye catching variegated yarns!

The pattern is written for cuff down socks specifically for the magic loop method of knitting in the round. It features a 2x2 ribbed cuff, a flap and gusset heel, and a rounded toe. Feel free to switch out your preferred cuff, heel and toe and adapt to whatever method of knitting in the round you prefer.

Sizes included are adult S (M, L), finished knit circumference 7 (8, 9) in/ 18 (20, 23) cm.

The yardage/meterage requirements are S ~300/275, M~350/320, L~400/365.

Errata: V.1 Pdf includes a typo. In the leg section, it reads “Repeat row 1” and should read “repeat rounds 1 -4.” This is updated in V.2 pdf.
