The Field and Forest Throw blanket pattern is beautifully textured thanks to the stunning Alpine and Sedge Stitches, and is a nice weight with lovely drape. Even though it’s highly textured it’s not overly heavy or hot.

I wouldn’t necessarily classify it as beginner friendly, however if you have a little experience under your belt (like basic stitches) you can very likely make this blanket without any trouble. Pattern includes photos for reference and links for video tutorials if you are a visual learner or maybe just need a little extra help or clarification.

Don’t let the fact that this blanket is all one color fool you into thinking it’s a boring make. Nothing could be further from the truth. All the different stitches incorporated into the pattern will keep you engaged throughout the entirety of the project. And in fact, the solid color really highlights the stunning texture of the blanket, letting it be the true focus and star of the show.

This pattern is written is US terms.

Finished blanket measures about 52” x 63” (129.5cm x 160cm).
