Colorful fruit and other summery goodness adorn the market stalls. Both the covered alleys and the market square are busy, teeming with life, flowers, people and produce. The only things I buy today are figs and some flour. Every now and then, I bake a fig crumble, sweet, crunchy and fruity all at once, to me the epitome of summer.
The Fig Crumble scarf is a treat for both lace and texture. Wavy lines provide the frame for a play of stitches curving toward each other, and lines of eyelets opening to the sky. Texture takes center stage on the back side too, making for a fun reversible accessory. Fig Crumble is the perfect laid-back project on our way to summer. Get ready and indulge in sweetness!
