You start these unusual fingerless mittens by knitting the thumb, using the increases to form a square shape, before grafting two sides together and adding the ribbing for wrist and fingers.

This special design enables you to knit the mittens almost any size you like and the slightly sloped edge will cover your fingers perfectly.

Filbling mittens feature a Fair Isle pattern using 4 colours in Fingering (4ply) yarn.

The sample was knit using:
Lang Yarns Jawoll (75% Virgin Wool/25% Nylon), colours used

003 Dark Grey
023 Light Grey
094 Offwhite
159 Orange

You will need DPNs or circular needles, using the magic loop method, 4 stitch markers, needle.

Gestrickt wird auf einem Nadelspiel oder einer Rundstricknadel mit der Magic Loop Methode.
