Filet Fantastic is a no sew, uniquely constructed, large blanket that was be released as a crochet-along in 12 parts. I’ve taken the old crochet technique of filet crochet and incorporating it into a new modern design. And the best part is that although filet crochet looks fancy it’s created with only two basic stitches so it’s a perfect CAL for crochet newbies.

The 47 page pattern is now available in either UK or US terms and includes explanations of all stitches and abbreviations.

You can find all the details for the crochet along on this page: https://keepcalmandcrochetonuk.com/crochet-a-long-2021/

Yarn:

You will need at least 1800g (36 x 50g balls / 4,680m) of yarn for this CAL and I would suggest it works best in at least 12 different colours.

Hook: 3.5mm (US size E/4)

Finished Blanket Size: 175cm / 1.75m (699 inches / 5ft 7 inches) squared.
