This scarf is knitted flat, beginning and ending with triangular Garter stitch points. Every row begins with a slipped stitch to give a smooth appearance to the edges. The motif in the length of the scarf is from the town of Filey, where many beautiful ganseys were knitted in the nineteenth century. Options: the triangular points can be omitted by casting on 44 stitches and working only the main portion of the scarf; you can also adjust the length to suit your taste.
