GAUGE: In back pattern, 1 repeat = 3 1/4”/8.5cm; 8 rows = 4”/10cm. In edging pattern, 2 repeats = 4”/10cm; 4 rows = 2 1/2”/6.5cm. In sleeve pattern, 14 dc = 4”/10cm; 4 rows = 2 1/2”/6.5cm. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

A few notes from the designer: The construction of this garment is not typical…. the back and two fronts together when seamed only come to just under the armpits… the edging while only 15 or so rows goes around the entire garment extending the back and sides. Be careful if you choose to substitute yarns as the yarn the garment is made in contains bamboo, which stretches….. if you choose to use a yarn without the same qualities as Bamboo Ewe, you will have to crochet additional rows around the body as that yarn may not stretch.

for size S (M, L, XL, XXL), 5 (7, 8, 9, 10) balls are needed, for a total of 885 (1239, 1416, 1593, 1770) yards.
