Filisur is colowork fun in rounds! I’ve designed these socks with a relaxed fit. They are perfect chill out partners. These socks are knitted from the cuff down. After the ribbed cuff you work the colorwork part with 2 contrasting colors. You can knit your favorite heel, or if you wish to make mine, follow the instructions for the ribbed heel flap. On the foot the ribbed pattern continues, ending up with classic toes.

Please note: This is no beginner project! You should be able to work colorwork with 2 yarns in round, change colors and work a stretchy fabric!

For a relaxed fit please choose your size carefully. Size S and M have the same number of leg stitches. The only difference is the sts number for the cuff and the foot. S/M fits up to 10“/25 cm leg circumference. If you need more sts for the leg, you’d rather go to size L.

Sizes: S/M, foot circumference up to to 9.5“/24cm, leg circumference up to 10“/25 cm. For more circumference knit size L. If you are between sizes, I recommend to go one size up.

Gauge: 34sts / 42rds = 4“/10cm in colorwork and stockinette stitch with needle size US 1 ½ /2.5mm.

Yarn: Sock yarn in 3 colors, sample shown in size M worked with Frida Fuchs Remmidemmi, col. Vanilleschote, and Mominoki sock yarn, col. Antique Ivory and Safran.

Yardage: total app. 75-100g (depending on your size): MC app. 70g, CC1 and CC2 10g each color.

Needles and tools: DPNs size US0 (2.0mm) US1 (2.25mm) and US1 ½ (2.5mm) or long circular needles same sizes for magic loop, tapestry needle, scissors.

Thanks a lot to all my testers! You did a great job! Thank you Elaine, for reading over this pattern!
