Filix Sweater is inspired by delicate fern leaves unfolding in early spring. The name Filix comes from the Latin word for fern, a symbol of quiet growth, resilience, and natural elegance.
The circular yoke features an intricate lace pattern enriched with subtle nupps, creating a softly textured fabric that feels both organic and refined.
Worked seamlessly from the top down, Filix allows you to try on as you go and easily adjust the length of body and sleeves. After the decorative yoke is completed, the sweater flows into a calm and relaxing body worked in reverse stockinette stitch. To keep the knitting enjoyable, the body and sleeves are knitted on the wrong side, so you won’t have to purl.
For those who prefer a smoother look, an alternative option is also included, allowing the pattern to transition into regular stockinette stitch instead.

The ease across sizes is 15 cm/6”. The picture shows size 3 with 15 cm/6” of positive ease.

PATTERN NOTES:
• The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down.
• You begin with the circular yoke, following the charts.
• After completing the yoke, you either turn work and continue knitting on the wrong side to create reverse stockinette stitch without purling, or, alternatively, you may continue working in the round without turning if you choose to have a classic stockinette look.
• After the yoke, the work is divided for body and sleeves. Short rows are then worked across the upper back to add length and thus shape the neckline, after which the body and sleeves are completed separately.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• basics (knit/purl, increase/decrease)
• working in the round
• working from a chart (written instructions for the English version are also provided)
