“Balance in your life is so very important, take time to find some.” --Unknown

The key to a happy life full of peace and harmony is to find balance. We have to balance our emotions, our spirituality, our thoughts, our health, our family, our work, our play and so much more. Finding balance means different things to different people so it’s very personal. One aspect is relaxation, doing what we love, and having a passion.

For those who crochet, I’ve designed Finding Balance, a crescent-shaped scarf, that is perfectly balanced and in symmetry, that is simple, fun, and relaxing to crochet. This is a project that you can crochet while traveling, watching a movie or visiting with family and friends.

Starting at one tip and ending at the other tip, this scarf is crocheted from side to side with an easy two-row repeat. Once you finish all of the rows, you have two options for the edging.

Finding Balance is a true one skein project with only two ends to sew in when finished. I chose a neutral color, Malabrigo Mechita in “Pearl”, for my scarf but it will be just as lovely in another solid color, a variegated color, or color changing yarn.

Finding Balance was updated to include a stitch chart in Sept. 2020. If you bought this pattern previously, the update is waiting for you in your Ravelry Library.
