If you want to see more of this jumper and hear the story behind it (and why it is my PERFECT SWEATER) take a look at this video on my vlog.

This pattern is knitted seamlessly from the top down. You will first cast on stitches for the back and knit from the shoulders down to the armhole. These stitches are put on hold. Next, you will pick up stitches from the shoulder edge and knit down to the armhole. At this point, the stitches from front and back are joined and the jumper is worked in the round from the armholes down to the bottom hem, with a little short-row shaping to lower the back hem. Stitches are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked from the top down in the round to the cuff.

The jumper is shown in size 2X on Kate who is a UK size 22. See schematic for finished measurements.
