These are cuff down socks. Really simple and relaxing knit. Basically at first you knit simple stockinette socks with heel flap and gusset and then pick up stitches at cuff to knit ruffle detail. I think that they are really fun and feminine. I wear these socks with my boots and ruffle detail peeking out.

Yarn
Heavy fingering weight. 100 % wool, 300 m / 100g. You can use fingering weight yarn, just know that yardage will be different.
Approximately 88 (142, 197, 225, 306, 372) yrd, 80 (130, 180, 232, 280, 340) m.
Yardage may vary if your gauge/yarn is different.

Needles
US #1 / 2.25mm DPNs (or circular for magic loop)
US #1.5 / 2.5 mm DPNs (or circular for magic loop), these needles will be used only for the ruffle.
Or as required to meet gauge.
