I designed this pattern originally to use up miniskeins of yarn that I bought, but discovered that it’s a great way to use up scraps of fingering weight yarn. You can use any fingering weight yarn for this pattern and can work it on a 12” circular needle or on double-points, whichever you prefer!

This pattern is designed for a newborn (0-6 months) baby in size. It uses approximately 20 to 25 grams of fingering weight yarn.
