This pattern is worked flat on doublebed knitting machines and is written using the terminology used for Passap and Pfaff machines.

Women’s medium: 7” around the palm of the hand.
Women’s large: 8.25” around the palm of the hand.

The glove is designed with slight negative ease to facilitate the wearer being able to work without the glove getting in the way. Featuring eyelet detail on the gusset line, this flat construction works up quickly. There is a short seam from the top of the ribbing to the web of the thumb and a longer one from the bottom of the cuff to the top of the thumb. A Bickford seam is flat, comfortable and nearly invisible.
Variations for regular length cuff or double length to be folded for extra warmth.

The blockers shown in my photos are called “golf glove stretchers”. My original online source no longer carries them. Check a sports supply store or online.
