One of my favorite things to do is to take walks through neighborhoods. The one around my boys’ school is a particular favorite because of the variety of beautiful and historic houses. As I was wandering around one of these neighborhoods last spring, I noticed a beautiful wooden door with a classic but modern geometric design. I knew immediately that I wanted to make it into a shawl! That gorgeous door was the inspiration for this unique and cozy shawl!
