Finn’s cardigan is the ultimate beginner-friendly sweater for the special baby in your life. It’s made with aran-weight yarn for a super-speedy knit and constructed seamlessly in a top-down raglan style with an incorporated button band. The (optional) hood is picked up and knitted at the end, with pompom ears added last!

This pattern is written in six sizes:
0-3mnths(3-6mnths)6-9mnths(9-12mnths)12-18mnths(18-24mnths)

Suggested Materials:
5.5mm circular needles (80cm length approx)
Optional 4.5mm circular needles (for ribbing)
1.5(1.5)2(2)2.5(2.5) balls of Drops Air yarn or similar
4 markers
Buttons of your choice
Measuring tape
Embroidery needle

If making hood + pompoms:
1 additional ball of Drops Air or similar yarn
Pompom maker (or cardboard to make your own)
1 locking stitch marker (or a safety pin)

the length of your circulars isn’t too important as we can use magic loop (links to tutorials provided)

This pattern is suitable for complete beginners - as always I’ve included links to video tutorials to walk you through anything you might not know.
Techniques required: magic loop, increases (m1), stocking stitch, 1x1 rib.
