Fiona Cardigan
Fiona Cardigan is a beautiful cardigan featuring whimsical details such as cables and dropped stitches, which add transparency and character to the look. The fit is short and boxy.
Fiona Cardigan is worked top-down. The stitches are cast on using a provisional cast-on. First, the upper back is worked. Then, the front shoulders are knitted — one at a time — while shaping the neckline. Below the armholes, the fronts and back are joined, and the body is worked back and forth to the bind-off. The sleeve stitches are picked up directly from the armholes. The cardigan is finished with ribbing and an Italian bind-off.
