This pattern dynamically calculates the rows and stitches based on your inputs into the PDF. In order for the pattern to work correctly, you will need to open the pattern in Chrome when on your computer, and Adobe Reader (free app!) when on your phone.

The Fiora Midi Skirt is a crochet Mae to Measure pattern designed to fit your body exactly, with fitted waist and hips, an adjustable elastic waistband, and a small cutout detail in the back. It has short-row shaping in the back so that the skirt accounts for your curves, and the waistband is fully customizable, where you can choose whatever elastic width to set the height of the waistband. A classic midi skirt hits just below the knee, but since this pattern is Mae to Measure, you can type in any length you’d like.

You can use any weight of yarn with this pattern, making it a great stash-busting project or a chance to pick exactly the drape and weight you want. This is an advanced-beginner pattern, which only uses simple crochet stitches (single crochets, double crochets, half double crochets, slip stitches). But if you’re wanting a bit more coverage on the skirt, you can easily swap out the double crochets for linked double crochets. If you’re comfortable with the basic crochet stitches, increasing, decreasing, and sewing together an elastic waistband, you can tackle this pattern!

MAE TO MEASURE
Read more here!
A Mae to Measure pattern is an interactive PDF pattern that calculates the number of stitches, rows, and yardage for a pattern. The benefit of a Mae to Measure pattern is that it makes your pattern size inclusive to virtually any body size (theoretically, it should even work for an infant!) This is done by allowing the user to type in their body measurements into the pattern. Then, in the background, the pattern will calculate all the math within the pattern to fit the person perfectly.

SIZES
Virtually any size! Since it calculates your measurements using your body’s measurements, this pattern will work for everyone.

EASE
The pattern has a built-in ease of +0.5”/1 cm. The slit in the back of the dress is calculated to leave about 35% of the skirt’s length open, but you can easily adjust if you’d like more coverage.
