Pattern Notes
This creation was inspired by the Ontario Satellite Reef which is a part of the worldwide Crochet Coral Reef project by Christine and Margaret Wertheim and the Institute For Figuring. The creation was based on my encounter with the fire corals when I was scuba diving in Manzanillo, Cuba. These corals can give you a burning sensation if you touch it. This is a quick project that involves crocheting in rounds and joining pieces together. The project ends up being approximately the size of your hand, sorry, I had submitted this piece for display before I had the chance to record the measurement.
