Fire on the Waves was originally inspired by the water rescue scene in New Moon by Stephenie Meyer.

The blanket is ideal for bulky weight yarn. The yarn featured is a worsted weight yarn held double.

The blanket is knit in one piece, so no sewing required. The cables in this blanket are reversible. And while the Flame Chevron is not reversible, the back side reminds me of bubbles rising to the surface of the water.
