Firedrake is a cuff down sock design that features intarsia in the round with a little stranded colorwork and a contrast toe to add interest to the otherwise straightforward foot. What with previous Sock Madness speculation and my own desire to wear dragons on my feet, I just had to write up a pattern! The eye is beaded to bring your miniature firebreather to life.

Notions: Stitch marker(s), 2 size 6/0 beads, crochet hook/floss/beading tool, tapestry needle

A bredlik in honor of SM11:

My nayme is sok and wen its nite my fyre breth wil be your lite and even thru the coldist snows you’ll fynd me heere I gard the toes

This design was available as a bonus pattern for Round 2 of Sock Madness 12. It will be available to the public after the end of competition sometime in June.
