Fireman Bob is a child friendly stuffed toy. He stands about about 9 inches tall. All materials are washable.

Materials:
Red Heart Super Saver: Black, Aran, Bright Yellow, Buff, Burgundy (lips), Cafe Latte (This is used for hair, so any color can be used if you don’t want brown hair)
Lion Brand Heartland: 150 Mount Rainier (silver)
Patons Metallic black for eyes
3.75 mm hook (F)
3.25 mm hook (D)
Polyester fiber fill for stuffing
Darning or tapestry needle

Pipe cleaners (12 inch)
Rows are numbered. Number in ( ) is number of stitches in that row.
In directions, number between braces means repeat that sequence.

Abbreviations:
MC - Magic Circle
SC - Single Crochet
2 TOG - next 2 stitches together (decrease)
SLST - slip stitch
CH - chain stitch
ST - stitch
BLO - back loop only
FLO - front loop only
F/O - face off. Use 1 SS and knot.
changing color counts as a stitch

HINTS:

1. To change colors, put hook through stitch where color changes. Pull through first portion of single crochet, then loop and pull through new color on second half (2 loops on hook) of single crochet. Proceed to next stitch with new color. Single crochet a few stitches. Cut end of old color leaving about 3 inches of yarn. This can be knotted to new color end.
2. Buff yarn must have both ends available to use, or have two skeins of buff yarn available for coat and body directions at row 34.
