A beautifully dense and reversible crocheted blanket perfect for cuddling up beside a fire on a cold winter night. Make as written or customize with your favourite colours and motif layout. This blanket would also be a great project for using up leftover wool; I’ve included approximate yardage by colour per motif to make it easy to calculate how much wool you’ll need if you’re using a different type of wool or have decided to make the blanket larger or smaller.

WOOL: Cascade Eco & Eco + wool – 100% Peruvian Highland wool (478 yds/skein)

  • MC: Taupe (8061) – 4 skeins (approx. 36 yds/motif + approx. 400 yds for joining and border)
  • C1: Straw (4010) – 1 skein (approx. 6.5 yds/motif)
  • C2: Pureed Pumpkin (3125) - 1 skein (approx. 7.5 yds/motif)
  • C3: Aporto (4009) – 1 skein (approx. 7.75 yds/motif)
  • C4: Summer sky heather (9452) – 1 skein (approx. 8 yds/motif)

HOOK: 5 mm

Finished size = approximately 54” x 60”
If you want a larger or smaller throw, adjust number of motifs as necessary
(NOTE: if going larger, you will need to adjust yarn amounts accordingly.)
