In celebration of All Wound Up Yarn Shop’s second anniversary, I designed this pattern as a thank you gift to my faithful customers. Anyone who purchases the yarn in our shop will receive the pattern free for the month of July.

For my faithful internet friends, you can purchase this pattern for 40% off through the end of July! Simply add the pattern to your cart, and the discount price will be reflected when you check out.

We were so blessed to have a special color dyed just for us by Blue Moon Fiber Arts! Such a gorgeous smattering of purples, blues and greys made me think of the sky when the stars are just starting to peep out, the sun has gone down, but a hazy halo of purples and blues are still barely visible. From this inspiration came Firmament.

Make these socks in ankle length or mid-calf length. Adjust the width by adding or decreasing stitches in multiples of 10 (some extra calculations are necessary for the heel if changing stitch count, and more yarn may be needed).

These are easy socks, with an easily memorizable pattern. They also look great in highly variegated yarns so they are perfect for those one skein wonders in everyone’s stash.
