  • Garment is worked in one piece from the top down, starting with the hood. The hood is worked flat, and the remainder is worked in rounds.

  • The textured side (or back) of the V-stitches will show on the outside of the capelet.

  • When working into single crochet V-stitch, work in first single crochet only unless otherwise indicated.

  • When working into fan, work in first and second single crochets only unless otherwise indicated.

  • Capelet length can be adjusted by working fewer or more repeats.

  • If working larger size, alternate cakes as needed to continue gradient effect.
