The First Date Sweater is light and breathable, but warm and cozy at the same time. It is made for those times when you want to look chic without trying too hard. It is comfortable and perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions. A slight transparency gives it a romantic touch, just like a first date with a subtle hint.

Construction
The First Date Sweater is worked from the top down with 2 strands of silk mohair yarn. First, the back yoke is worked flat in stockinette stitch, while short rows are worked to shape the shoulders. Then, each shoulder is worked separately, flat with short rows that help form the shoulder slopes. The shoulders are then joined to form the front yoke. The front and back yokes are joined at the underarms to form the body, which is worked in the round on circular needles. The sleeves are worked in the round from stitches picked up along the armholes. Finally, the stockinette stitch neckline is worked from stitches picked up along the neck opening.

Size guide
Please take your body measurements before choosing your size. This sweater is designed with an oversized, relaxed fit and features approximately 30 cm / 12 inches of positive ease at the bust and 12 cm / 4¾ inches at the upper arm. Finished garment measurements can be found in the schematic to help you select the size that best matches your preferred fit. Please note that these are the measurements of the finished sweater, not your body.
