These socks are knit toe-up on circular needles using the magic loop method. Instructions are to be worked over both needles unless separate instructions are specified for first needle (N1) and second needle (N2). Stitch counts are written for size 1 with stitch counts for sizes (2, 3, 4, 5) in brackets. This pattern includes instructions for both a gusset & heel flap heel and a German short-row heel. You can of course substitute your preferred heel method.

This pattern has been test knit and professionally tech edited.
