This hat was designed after I learned how to spin. I finished my first-ever two mini skeins, and I immediately cast on a hat to show off my perfectly imperfect yarn.

I used a commercial yarn (Brown Sheep Lanaloft Sport weight) as the main color to show off my handspun yarn stripes.

This hat could also work for using leftover yarn scraps for the stripes.
