Yardage equal 3 balls of Cascade Pacific Chunky, shown in colors:
A: Cactus (shade 33): 1 ball
B: Dusty Turquoise (shade 23): 2 balls.
(Note: This will be sufficient yarn for both the cocoon and the hat. If you are knitting the cocoon only, you will still need this quantity.)

For safety reasons, the baby should be placed in the cocoon so that the top edge comes around the baby’s body, under the armpits.
