I am not a traditional sock wearer. The only socks I typically wear are with sneakers and boots so I really wanted to develop a pair of super squishy, thick socks to wear around the house in the fall and wintertime to keep my feet warm! I’m obsessed with these Fisherfolk House Slippers. They resemble little fish tails and I just love them. These socks are designed to be unisex so that they look good on everyone and that there is a fit for everyone. Whether you want to wear them as slippers or just thick socks, pick the sizing option that works for you.

I also want to let you know, I don’t knit many socks and these really aren’t that difficult - if you have knit a pair and can follow a simple chart with tiny cables you should be fine!

These slipper socks are knit in the round from the cuff and leg. The heel flap is worked flat, and then stitches are picked up after the heel turn to work the gusset. Then you will continue to work in the round to the toe. The toe is worked in the round on two needles and then grafted together.
