My Fisherman’s Rib Cowl is so warm and comfy! The ribbing is double the thickness of normal ribbing and the aran weight yarn really keeps the cold out.

With just two balls of Drops Alaska you can knit this cowl up fairly quickly. This pattern would work well with other aran weight or worsted weight yarns too.

Techniques used in the pattern are basic knits and purls, working in the round on a circular needle, plus knitting into the stitch below for the Fisherman’s Rib section (explained in the pattern notes).

Happy Knitting!
