From the Pattern Introduction:  A traditional and well-loved pattern of lace fishtail shapes makes a softly undulating ripple pattern when worked in stripes of harmonious colors

Pattern repeat: This pattern is worked in a multiple of 10 stitches plus 1.

Notes on gauge: As with all of the stitch patterns in this book, the gauge is flexible depending on your yarn and needle choice.  This stitch is popular for use in blankets and scarves.

Related Patterns: Pattern number 101, Wisteria Lace, is the same stitch pattern with different color striping.

Pattern Number 100 in the book, page 66.
