As the second in the series of shawls for The Up North Collection, The Fishtown Shawl - Wrapped in Memories In Leland, MI.

This wonderfully small and unigue little gem of a town is a must do, no matter what the season. It historical fishing boats as well as the original fishing shantys are great finds. You can soak in the water as well as enjoy a lovely day of shopping. All of the original fishing shanty’s have been turned into small shops featuring local artists, a great candy store, an amazing deli for a lunch on the dock and of course some of best smoked whitefish and salmon that you’ll ever try.

The water colored teals and blue hues that are reflected throughout the lake are in beautiful contrast to the driftwood color of the weather worn dock and shops, and don’t forget the waterfall!

Please not that this shawl has been knit with three colors of fingering weight yarn, however I do think this shawl would be just as beautiful
in two colors or even just one!

If working the shawl in either one or two colors, only two skeins of fingering yarn will be needed! I hope you love the magic of Fishtown the way I do!
