Introducing the Fishy Friends Toque Set! Now you too can adorn your beloved families’ heads with whimsical fish inspired hats that are sure to garner smiles from everyone you pass.

This pattern is knit from the bottom up, starting with the ribbing and working through the “body” of the hat, to the decreases at the end. The children’s’ sizes include instructions for knitting fins as the finishing touch in place of a pom pom or tassel.

Sizes include 0-6 months (12-15” circumference), 6-12 months (16-18” circumference), 1-3 years (18-20” circumference), 3-6 years (20-21” circumference), average adult (21-23” circumference), and large adult (22-24” circumference). Additional instructions are provided on how to modify the pattern if you wish to knit a slightly smaller size than what is provided.

You will need 4 different colours of DK weight yarn for this pattern: a main colour, a background colour, a fish colour, and an accent colour. The higher contrast you have between your background colour, fish colour, and accent colour, the better!
