Fiskari-sweater is my love letter to my hometown Fiskars. The stranded colour work pattern is inspired by the rhythm of the village. I have hidden many historic buildings in the pattern, like the old clock tower, the mill, the fire station, and the workers houses.

Fiskari-sweater is worked seamless in the round. The yoke is worked in two-colour stranded colour work pattern. This easy pattern has no long floats on the wrong side.

The length of the body and the sleeves can easily be adjusted since the sweater is knitted from the top down. The neckline is shaped with short rows. Sleeves are worked from armholes down to cuffs using DPN’s or Magic loop method.

Fiskars-sweater is worked in DK weight alpaca yarn. The sample is made in PMK 100% alpakka DK. If you choose another material, test the gauge carefully and if necessary, change to larger/smaller needles to get the right tension: 22 sts on 10 cm (4”).
