The pieces are then joined, and the body is knit in the round on circular needles in stockinette stitch, finished with a brioche hem. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are knit in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with a brioche hem.

Gauge: 16 sts x 25 rows in stockinette stitch on needle size 6 mm US 10/UK 4 and 15 sts x 40 rows in brioche stitch on needle size 5 mm US 8/UK 60 rows in brioche stitch are counted as 20 knit sts)

Purple version (knit with 2 strands): 150 (150-200) 200 (200) 250 (250) 300 g Alpakka by Sandnes (50 g = 110 m 120 yds, color 5224 Light Lilac) held together with 100 (100) 100 (100) 100-150 (150) 150 g Sunday by Sandnes (50 g = 235 m 257 yds, color 5224 Light Lilac).
