These are the first set of textured squares I started making for the Hug in a Blanket charity. After a few requests, I decided to write up the instructions for others.

Pattern file includes:
~ Garter Stitch (yes even that is a texture)
~ Diagonal Rib Stitch
~ Broken Checkerboard Stitch
~ Seed Stitch
~ Horizontal Rib Stitch

Materials:
~ Double Knit (DK) Weight Yarn - approx 10g per square
~ 4.0mm knitting needles
~ Darning Needle

Difficulty: Beginner

Skills Used:
~ Knit & Purl
~ Selvedge Edge
