This cotton cardigan is so comfy and casual, the perfect addition to your fall wardrobe. Great for a stay at home weekend, or to stay warm on those cool fall mornings. It is warm, but not too warm, because it is made from a cotton blend yarn. The cotton yarn gives this cardigan a weight to it, allowing it to hang nicely and wrap you in cozy comfort all day.

The Five Cs Cardigan is crocheted in the sedge stitch, which is a sc, hdc, and dc worked in the same stitch, with two stitches skipped in between each group. The stitch pattern gives it a unique texture, a little like a thermal or waffle type stitch. The weight of the yarn and the rich texture make this a great cardigan for a walk through the woods on a cool fall day.

This pattern requires 6-10 balls of Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend. Color pictured is Cool Night. The pattern is available free on my blog. If you prefer an ad-free printable pdf, visit my Etsy shop here.
